Justin Havens, owner and lead trainer of St. Michael’s Academy, brings a wealth of experience to every course he leads. A United States Air Force veteran with six years of service as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Journeyman, Justin was awarded the Expert Marksmanship Badge during his military career. He is a certified NRA Instructor in Pistol, Range Safety Officer, and Refuse to Be a Victim programs, as well as a certified SABRE Red Civilian Safety Instructor. His professional affiliations include membership in the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors, and he is among the first 50 instructors worldwide certified under the UTM Civilian Instructor Program. Beyond his military and instructional background, Justin has also served as a private security firm trainer and curriculum developer, shaping advanced training programs for professional protection teams.
